Bayern Munich returned home triumphant following their emphatic 3-0 win over Barcelona at Camp Nou.

The win saw them reach the final of the Champions League, having thrashed their Spanish opponents 7-0 on aggregate.

After losing the first leg 4-0 in Munich, Barcelona were widely expected to come out firing, but goals from Arjen Robben, Thomas Mueller and an own goal from Gerard Pique saw the German side through with plenty to spare.

Coach Jupp Heynckes was clearly delighted with the result and the performance but insisted that the job is not yet complete.

Bayern swept to the Bundesliga title with six games to spare, but will now aim to win the Champions League final and the DFB Pokal (cup) final in a bid to finish a truly memorable season in style.

Arjen Robben a goal scorer in both legs of the semi-final tie - echoed the thoughts of his coach.

He described beat Barcelona in their own stadium as "a very nice feeling" - not least because they have dominated European football for much of the past five seasons.

Bayern will now face German rivals Borussia Dortmund at Wembley in the Champions League final later this month, before taking on VfB Stuttgart on June 1st as they aim to capture a superb treble.
