Kevin Durant's stunning decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder for the already-lethal Golden State Warriors creates a behemoth that will be expected to contend for an NBA title for years to come.

Durant's decision has sent shock waves through the NBA, and left more than a few Thunder fans fired up at their former star's move.

Jersey burning, angry outbursts and sad children crying followed from Thunder fans.

Durant announced his move via a post on The Players Tribune website title: 'My Next Chapter'.

"The primary mandate I had for myself in making this decision was to have it based on the potential for my growth as a player - as that has always steered me in the right direction," Durant wrote.

"I'm from Washington, D.C. originally, but Oklahoma City truly raised me. It taught me so much about family as well as what it means to be a man."

As nicely as Durant's farewell message is written, comedian and impersonator Frank Caliendo takes it to the next level when he reads the post in his Morgan Freeman voice.

And of course the internet had fun creating videos at the Thunder's expense.
