There's sure to be banter flying at the next Black Caps camp when teammates Mitchell McClenaghan and Tim Southee get together.
The Mumbai Indians' bowlers helped their side to a win over the Kolkata Knight Riders but it didn't seem so in the bag when Southee dropped two consecutive McClenaghan deliveries in the field.
Southee spilled catches off Chris Lynn's pull to midwicket and a simple chance from Yusuf Pathan from a similar position meaning McClenaghan finished with figures of 1-33 from four overs.
Southee had better luck with the ball, taking 2-38 including a wicket in the over just before McClenaghan.
Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma guided the Indians to victory with an unbeaten 60.
