Warriors centre Konrad Hurrell has shaved off his iconic bushy beard in support of Cure Kids.
Hurrell was inspired to grow his beard to raise funds for Cure Kids after meeting a young girl named Leka Ma'u in Auckland last year.
Ma'u, who was eight when they met, has since moved to Australia with her family, but Hurrell has stayed in touch with her and said she was "the bravest and cutest girl I've ever met".
The 23-year-old had been growing a beard for seven months, but today had it all shaved off with the help of Cure Kids ambassadors at Mount Smart Stadium.
"I feel a bit light and a bit cold at the moment," Hurrell said after the shave.
"Guess I haven't seen my face in seven months without a beard so it will be weird to look at myself."
