The 30-year-old Swiss star ruined Novak Djokovic's hopes of completing the Grand Slam as he pulled out shots like this on his way to a win over four sets.
We all knew Wawrinka's backhand was impressive, but hitting a shot around the net just cranked it up to another level.
The French Open was Wawrinka's second major, following on from his win at the Australian Open last year.
He also became the second man to win the juniors and the men's title in Paris since Mats Wilander achieved the double in 1988.
