A senior Australian politician has fallen foul of social media.
West Australian Education Minister Peter Collier says he feels embarrassed after he clicked 'like' on some objectionable material on Facebook.
Mr Collier was caught out liking a picture of a Young Liberal, taken in December 2011, who was participating in the "sneaky nuts" fad made popular by TV comedy Angry Boys.
The picture went unnoticed until the end of April when the teenager tweeted, "Forgot to say that a senior WA Cabinet minister liked the photo on Facebook."
When other Twitter users questioned him on the identity of the minister he replied, "Peter Collier."
