The departure hall at Brussels airport has partially reopened nearly six weeks after it was damaged in the terror attacks on the Belgian capital.

Repair work is still ongoing but passengers are now able to access 111 check-in counters.

On March 22, two Islamic State suicide bombers killed 16 people at the airport.

The blasts, from two suitcase bombs, severely damaged parts of the building.

A third suicide attacker detonated his bomb on a metro train close to the centre of the city.

They killed 32 people in total.
