A newlywed couple have had a narrow escape after the groom fell from the top of a 1300m cliff.
The 35-year-old Dutch man stumbled off the edge of the cliff, known as the World's End, while snapping pictures of his new bride in central Sri Lanka.
He was taking a photo, walking backwards, and took a step too far. Luckily he landed on a tree about 40m down, saving his life.
After three-and-a-half hours he was rescued by 40 Sri Lankan troops and a military.
It's believed he's the first person to ever survive falling off the notorious cliff.
