Residents of a New Jersey city woke up this morning to find a sinkhole had destroyed part of their street.
Residents in South Amboy, about 32km south of Newark, were evacuated after the huge sinkhole swallowed a car and threatened four nearby houses.
Nobody was injured in the incident, which is believed to have been caused by a water mains break.
The sinkhole is continuing to grow, but officials say there's no ongoing danger to homes in the area.
