A reptile park owner in Australia has blamed himself after being attacked by a saltwater crocodile.
Ian Jenkins was attacked by the croc during a feeding demonstration at his Snakes Downunder Reptile Park and Zoo in southern Queensland.
Mr Jenkins lost a thumb in the attack, which his wife said was due to her husband miscalculating the speed of the crocodile.
The 58-year-old was saved by an assistant who distracted the animal by tapping on its body.
