Rapper Scribe has hinted at civil action against the police in his running battle over drug and weapon charges.
The Kiwi music icon currently faces three charges from April 2 this year and also three charges of failing to answer bail, after missing court appearances.
In August, Canterbury police posted a wanted picture of Scribe - real name Malo Luafutu - on their Facebook page. He finally appeared in the Christchurch District Court on September 8 to plead not guilty to all charges.

"Daddy gon see u soon as these pigs get what's coming," he wrote.
A long list of hashtags included #civilsuitpending #serveandprotectdeeznuts #gosolvesomerealcrime #gocatchsomerapistsandmurderers and #lawabidingcitizen.
Scribe first rose to prominence with his singles 'Stand Up' and 'Not Many' from his 2003 album The Crusader.
