Fashion Designer Stefano Gabbana has come under fire for calling Selena Gomez "ugly" in an Instagram comment.
Under a collage of red carpet photos of the pop star, Gabanna wrote: "È proprio brutta!!!" which roughly translates to "She's so ugly."

He also agreed with a fellow commenter who said Gomez "looks like a Pomeranian dog," replying, "hahahahahaha is true hahahaha."
Fans and famous friends of the 'Come And Get It' singer have rushed to her defence, filling the photo's comment section with angry messages to Gabanna.
13 Reasons Why actor Tommy Dorfman reportedly wrote: "You're tired and over. Your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018. It is no longer tolerable or chic. Please take many seats."
Meanwhile, Selenators called out the Italian designer for his crude remarks.
"You better be kidding because she is one of the prettiest people alive!!! She has a beautiful interior and exterior, which is what you lack," one user wrote.
"For a "grown" man to bully a young lady or anyone for that matter, not only demonstrates your shallow mindset but it also displays your profound lack of maturity. Shame on you," added another.
Gabanna is known for his shady Instagram behaviour, having previously insulted former friend and fellow designer Victoria Beckham by posting several thumbs down emojis under a picture of her.
Gomez has yet to respond to the insult.
