Forget MGK - Eminem picks another fight using new full-page advert

Eminem's feud with Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) isn't the only battle the rapper is fighting, after taking out a full-page advert slamming music critics.

Eminem's latest album, Kamikaze, received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the rapper's passion, lyrical ability and old-school sound, while others slated it as a cliché.

But the rapper and his record labels have now hit out at critics with a full-page advert in The Hollywood Reporter noting that despite shaky word-of-mouth, the album still skyrocketed up the charts.

"#1 in 103 countries and 434,000 equivalent album units in the US first week. Thanks for the support A**holes," the advert said.

The album has received attention for its diss tracks, particularly in labelling fellow rapper MGK a "little c**ksucker" and a "non-threatening blonde fairy" in the track 'Not Alike'.

MGK responded with his own track, 'Rap Devil', where he called Eminem out as a bully acting like a baby.

Eminem followed that up with 'Killshot', which broke the YouTube record for biggest hip-hop debut, with the song's video reaching more than 36 million views in 24 hours. The video is also the third biggest video debut in YouTube's history.
