I was 'blindsided' by Dan's 'betrayal' - MAFS AU cheating victim Tamara

Tamara Joy says she is "living her best life", despite finding herself at the centre of an explosive cheating scandal on Married at First Sight Australia.

She joined The Project NZ on Monday night to talk about her experience on the show, and how she's coping with the airing of the tense episode in which a cheating scandal between her husband, Daniel Webb, and another contestant, Jessika Power, was revealed.

Dan and Jess had been cheating on their partners with each other for weeks, and lying to the other contestants about why they were staying on the show.

Tamara says she hopes the new couple is happy, but reckons they could have been together without lying.

"If they are in love - still, to this day - good on them. But I have to say they could've gone about it in a completely different way [in which] no feelings would have been hurt," she said,

She says she was just as blindsided as everyone else by the cheating revelation.

"They decided to lie and betray their friends and the trust in their partners."

Asked whether she thinks Jess and Dan "really do love each other", Tamara could not have been clearer, responding with just a giggle.

She says despite all the drama, she is okay.

"I'm living my best life, you guys - I am fine."
