Idris Elba reveals music he played at Harry, Meghan's royal wedding

Superstar actor and DJ Idris Elba has revealed not only what he played at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but that Meghan helped choose the music.

The 46-year-old spoke to BBC Radio 1Xtra on Wednesday about DJing the 2018 wedding for the royal couple, and their many famous guests.

While Elba wouldn't give much away, he did say that guests bopped to Whitney Houston's 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' and some West Coast music picked out by Meghan.

"A lot of tunes went off. Meghan sent me a playlist with some bare tune on it," Elba said.

"There were some West Coast on it. That's all I'm saying. I am not going to put their business out like that."

Questioned if anything by the likes of Tupac or Dr Dre was played, Elba kept quiet.

"Ask Meghan and Harry".

Harry and Meghan were wed last May at Windsor Castle. Among their guests was the Queen, George and Amal Clooney, and David and Victoria Beckham.

Elba revealed earlier this year that Harry had attended some of his parties and was shocked by the invitation to DJ his wedding.
