The Beths lead 2019 Vodafone New Zealand Music Award nominations

The 2019 finalists for the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (VNZMAs) have been announced, before the trophies are handed out to winners on November 14.

Indie pop band The Beths leads the nominations with five nods - Best Alternative Artist, Single of the Year, Best Group and Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Other artists with multiple nominations include Broods, Beastwars, Benee, Avantdale Bowling Club, Mitch James, Church & AP, Aldous Harding and Troy Kingi.

Tickets to the 2019 VNZMAs at Spark Arena are on sale now, and the event will be broadcast live on Three.
