Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson have both keenly endorsed the idea of being on-screen lovers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The actors, who play Captain Marvel and Valkyrie in films including Avengers: Endgame, publicly declared themselves shippers at ACE Comic-Con in Chicago over the weekend.
"We're here to ship, ya'll! We can dig into it, I'm just telling you we're shipping," Larson said, according to comicbook.com.
"Brie is my real-life queen, in general. If it becomes canon, that's cool, too," Thompson reportedly added.

Fans at the panel are said to have reacted very favourably to the statements.
Thompson has previously said a scene which explicitly confirmed she was bisexual was cut from Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok, although many fans deemed it implied anyway.
In the comics, Valkyrie has a relationship with Annabelle Riggs.
Captain Marvel's directors played coy about the sexuality of the character, also known as Carol Danvers, when asked directly about it in an interview.
In the comics, the Danvers version of Captain Marvel is straight, but another version of the character is gay.
It's not the first time the actors have expressed interest in their characters being lesbian lovers in the films.
Back in March, Larson retweeted a piece of fan art depicting Captain Marvel and Valkyrie romantically embracing with the comment: "We cute".
