MAFS star Cameron Woods defends sexting Tayla Winter during dramatic reunion dinner

Married at First Sight Australia's Cameron Woods insists his sending a sext to fellow contestant Tayla Winter is nothing to be read into.

It comes after the explosive revelation at the final reunion dinner that Woods had sent a picture of his penis to Winter, despite having been married to Lyndall Grace.

Woods stormed off midway through his final vows, leaving wife Grace after she told him her "my future life does not include you".

But during a boozy reunion on Tuesday night's episode, word of a sexting scandal became the talk of the table as the brides and grooms found out Winter and Woods had been flirting.

"Cam has been sexting Tayla," Grace told Winter's ex-husband Hugo. "And it started in the experiment."

When confronted Woods said it was just some "friendly banter".

"After the final vows, I went back home and was having a bit of friendly banter with Tayla. It was just a back-and-forth text. Nothing serious. Just a friendly chat," he said.

"I'm a friendly person. So, if ya call that sexting, then, I'm f**kin' sorry, I've 'sexted'," he said.

However, Grace didn't let him off the hook saying: "I know that you were talking before our final vows. You had each other's numbers. I saw you texting her."

Then Winter threw the entire party into disarray, saying: "I saw his c**k!"

"Yes, I saw his willy. Who cares? We FaceTime every day," she said.

Winter has since defended her actions on Australian radio show The Kyle & Jackie O Show saying Woods is a "loose cannon" who "doesn't really care too much about getting his 'thing' out".

"I didn't return the favour, it was quite one-sided," she said.

"I wasn't the one person who saw it that night. He was in a nightclub so I think everyone got a bit of a show. He was really drunk, and I was drinking with all of my friends as well. It just happened. I think he said, 'Do you want me to get it out?' and I said, 'Yeah, I dare you to'. I didn't think he actually would."

Woods has also spoken about the scandal on the KIIS Breakfast show in Australia, saying there's "nothing there" between himself and Winter.

"That FaceTime call - it was just me full of piss and it's a little signature move that I do that gets me in a bit of trouble," he said. "That FaceTime happened after the final vows and before the reunion was filmed."

The finale of Married At First Sight Australia airs on Wednesday on Three, and the series can be streamed on ThreeNow.
