Married At First Sight Australia: John Aiken promises to 'follow that up' after AM host Lloyd Burr hints he would go on the show

AM co-host Lloyd Burr has said he would try a show like Married at First Sight Australia after presenter Nicky Styris hinted he "wants to go on" during a chat with MAFS relationship expert John Aiken.

Aiken promised Burr he would "follow that up" during a discussion about whether fellow co-host Melissa Chan-Green would have gone on a show like MAFS in her younger days.

"I know you're married, but would you ever go on a show like that when you were single?" Burr asked Chan-Green.

"Er, no absolutely not," she replied quickly.

"It's pretty full on," Aiken said, before Styris chipped in: "I think he wants to go on."

"I'm getting that," Aiken replied to Styris, before Burr said: "Look you can get my email off the boss. Nothing else has worked."

"Well stay tuned on that one Lloyd, I'll follow that up," Aiken replied before the hosts swiftly moved on.

The 11th season of Married At First Sight Australia begins on Three and ThreeNow on Monday, February 5.
