A female sexologist has revealed her signature scent on a big night out - and no, it's not Marc Jacobs. The woman applies her "vaginal fluids", a perfume she wears with pride.

Shan Boodram, a popular Instagram and YouTube personality, says her very own secretions have become her go-to perfume when out on the town. The sexologist claims "vaginal pheromones" act like a "love potion", sending suitors into a scent-driven spiral.

The woman went on to claim that heterosexual men have "flocked" to her when she wears her 100 percent all-natural scent.

Boodram has written about the trick in her new book, 'The Game of Desire' and shared an excerpt about the tip with Refinery 29.

"Vaginal fluids, especially around ovulation, but really any time you want to feel an extra boost of confidence, can serve as a love potion," she explained in the excerpt.

"Regardless of it vaginal pheromones truly make a person irresistible or not, the fact that you think it does, will cause you to act in a bolder, more confident manner."

The sexologist then teaches women how to apply the magical hack, saying it's important to place the scent on the neck, collarbone and wrists.

Boodram did confess that her experimentation with her natural odours have produced mixed results over the past ten years.

"Sometimes people are flocking to me, sometimes I don't notice a difference," she admitted.

Although Boodram remains unsure of its effectiveness in the dating department, she claims it does wonders for a woman's confidence.

"Every single time I employ it, it makes me feel like an enchanted goddess with a delicious secret," she claims.

Or there's always Juicy Couture perfumes. They're pretty nice too.
