One US man's text blunder to his boss has resurfaced online, and it really puts any cringe-inducing conversation you've ever had with your boss into perspective.
Twitter user Max shared a screenshot of the message he accidentally sent, asking if his boss was free to engage in a sex act.
When his boss Tony asked if he could finish a spreadsheet before Thursday eve, Max replied: "you free for anal Tony?"
He quickly sent the correction: "A call**", with an apology, but the damage was done.
Luckily his boss saw the funny side, writing "not right in now, in a meeting," before adding "Maybe ask your GF thnx [sic]".
"How’s your Friday going? Just asked my boss for anal. Thnx," Max captioned his post, which has racked up almost 3000 likes.
Although the tweet was originally posted in 2019, it has recently resurfaced and left Twitter users in hysterics.
"Thanks for making me spit coffee all over my desk, one person replied.
"It says a lot if your phone is autocorrecting 'call' to 'anal'," another pointed out.
Another person wrote they had been left "in tears" reading the exchange.
We just hope it wasn't too awkward at work the next day.
