Lotto: Five players share $1 million, 24 punters claim $10,000 - here's where winning tickets were sold

Five lucky Lotto players from Auckland, Waikato and Ashburton will be ending the month on a high after each winning $200,000 with First Division on Wednesday night.   

The winning tickets were sold to MyLotto players in Auckland, Franklin and Ashburton, Southmall Lotto Kiosk in Manurewa and Countdown Te Awamutu in Te Awamutu  

The winning numbers were 3, 6, 9, 11, 19 and 27. The bonus ball was 23 and Powerball was six.      

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday night and has rolled over to Saturday, where the jackpot will be $17 million.  

Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $700,000 on Saturday night.  

Meanwhile, 24 lucky Lotto players will be toasting a special win after each winning $10,422 with Second Division on Wednesday night.   

Two lucky players also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $18,918.  

The winning Powerball Second Division tickets were sold at New World in Balclutha and on MyLotto to a player from Clutha. The winning Second Division tickets were sold at stores in Far North, Rodney, Dairy Flat, Auckland Central, Mt Roskill, Papatoetoe, Manukau, Huntly, Tauranga, Tirau, Tokoroa, Murupara, Lower Hutt, Wellington,  Carterton, Tākaka, Tasman, Christchurch City, Clutha, Balclutha, Gore and Invercargill City.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson said.
