Lotto: Porirua player wins $1 million, three others claim over $300,000 – where winning tickets were sold

It would've been an evening to remember for a Porirua Lotto player after winning $1 million in Saturday night's Strike Must Be Won draw. 

The winning Strike Four ticket was sold at Centre Food Store in Porirua. 

The winning numbers were 5, 7, 9, 12, 15 and 27. The bonus ball was 21 and powerball was 2.  

Three players from Waitomo, Auckland and Tauranga will also be celebrating after each winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division on Saturday night.  

The winning tickets were sold at Clendon Postshop Lotto in Auckland and on MyLotto to players from Waitomo and Tauranga. 

Powerball was not struck on Saturday night and has rolled over to Wednesday, where the jackpot will be $10 million. 

Meanwhile, 17 lucky players will be enjoying a boost to their bank account after each winning $15,531 with Lotto Second Division. One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $33,158.  

The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at West City Lotto in Auckland. The winning Second Division tickets were sold at stores in Wellsford, Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Ōtaki, Wellington and Dunedin City.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto NZ spokesperson said
