Houses with incredible views, lots of bedrooms, wild locations and a smattering of history are proving to be hot property on Trade Me right now.
Four of the top five most-viewed properties currently on the online auction site are valued in the multi-millions, putting them out of the price range of regular Kiwis.

However, according to Trade Me's head of property Nigel Jeffries, this isn't an unusual occurrence.
"New Zealanders love to dream, and often it's the big ticket or historic properties that fetch the most views," he told Newshub.
"Unique properties catch the eye of Kiwis. We're a nation of property lovers and we're always keen to check out the bizarre and beautiful homes, baches and buildings that are hiding around the country.
1. 27 Glenesk Road, Piha - 103,100 views
"The most viewed property onsite at the moment is a stunning six-bedroom home with panoramic views of Piha beach which has had 103,000 views since it was listed onsite."
Indeed, the views from this Piha property can only be matched by those found in number two on the list - a bonafide Remuera mansion.
2. 6 Garden Road, Remuera - 96,500 views
With five bedrooms, a separate self-contained studio, a wine cellar, tennis court, infinity pool and private reserve, it seems to fully justify its CV of $24,500,000.
3. Kate Sheppard's house - 83 Clyde Road, Ilam 95,300 views
Number three makes up for the lack of sea views with a serene outlook and incredible story.
"Kate Sheppard's house is a piece of New Zealand history and with an RV of $3.15 million and over 95,000 views since it was listed onsite, lots of Kiwis have been keen to take a look at what's inside the iconic home," said Mr Jeffries.
They may require a boat to get to, but numbers four and five on the list are still attracting plenty of attention, for completely different reasons.
4. 205 Church Bay Road, Waiheke Island 86,100 views
The second mansion on the list is perched on a cliff top on Waiheke Island, and comes with its own winery, indoor swimming pool, art gallery, his and her's ensuites, home theatre, and fully self-contained guest accommodation.
5. 330 Shoal Bay Road, Great Barrier Island 71,500 views
Last - and least, in terms of its price-tag - on the list comes a cosy bach on Great Barrier Island that's crying out for a good old Kiwi reno-job to turn it into a dreamy escape.
At just $299,000, someone with a dream - and maybe a helicopter - is bound to snap it up soon.
