Three men, one armed with a hammer, are on the run after hitting a liquor store in Christchurch.
The trio entered the Woodham Rd Liquor Store in Linwood about 7:45pm on Saturday, police said.
"They left in a stolen white Mazda Demio with cash and cigarettes."
CCTV images released by police show one of the men wore a dark blue top with a white hood and facemask, carrying a yellow hammer.
A second man wore dark clothing, including a black and white facemask, and was carrying a black bag. The third was dressed in light grey, with a black facemask and carrying a black and white bag over his shoulder.
