The search for a swimmer missing from a Dunedin beach has resumed after they disappeared on Thursday afternoon.
Police returned to St Clair Beach on Friday morning to try and locate a swimmer, believed to be male.
The shoreline and the water will be searched for any sign of the missing person, a police spokesperson told Newshub.
The police dive squad is expected to arrive mid-morning to help locate the swimmer.
