Police are appealing for help to find a "person of interest" over a serious assault at a Six60 concert in Auckland in February.

The plea for information follows the arrest of a 25-year old man in April. He was charged with assault with intent to injure after two young people were attacked at the concert at Western Springs Stadium, reports Stuff.

Avondale police are now seeking a second person in connection to the same incident and say they are confident someone from the public will recognise the man.

They are asking for anyone with information to call them on 105 and quote the file number: 200223/7751.

Information can be supplied anonymously to Police through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or privately on Facebook.
