Bledisloe Cup: All Blacks halfback Aaron Smith receives centurion cap from former captain Kieran Read

Aaron Smith has been presented with his 100th cap by a familiar face - former All Blacks captain Kieran Read.

All Blacks halfback Smith, 32, became the 10th All Black on Saturday to play 100 tests as his side defeated the Wallabies 33-25 at Auckland's Eden Park.

In the post-match presentation, Read said it was a privilege to present Smith with his cap.

"I was lucky enough to play over 80 tests with nuggy [Smith] and to see the growth of the man, and what he's turned into… it's just a testament to what he's put in over those years.

"What I've always admired about nuggy is the sacrifices that he's put in - he's competitive and he'll always do whatever it takes.

"[There's] no-one more deserving than yourself - you're definitely a leader in this team right now and it's an absolute honour to present me with your cap," Read said.
