Family Guy foretold Brett Ratner, Charlie Rose sexual misconduct

Seth MacFarlane has once again been credited with broaching the alleged sexual misconduct of high-profile media figures, years ahead of their eventual downfall.

The comic called out the likes of Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein well before their alleged sexual misconduct was exposed.

And now his hit cartoon comedy show Family Guy has been found to have called out CBS presenter Charlie Rose and Hollywood director Brett Ratner before allegations emerged.

Ratner, the director of the Rush Hour trilogy, has been accused of sexual harassment by six women.

In a Family Guy episode from 2012, Stewie dresses as a little girl as he attempts to save sister Meg from a sex slavery ring. Ratner offers $75,000 at a sex slave auction for baby Stewie's services.

Rose, who was sacked by PBS and CBS News after several accusations of harassment and coercion by colleagues, also appeared in a 2012 episode.

After main character Peter compares local newsreader Tom Tucker to Rose, a cutaway shows him becoming aggressive with co-anchor Gayle King when she expresses surprise at what he says the show is about.

A 2005 episode exposed Kevin Spacey, while a gag MacFarlane made at the 2013 Oscars outed Harvey Weinstein.
