Nearly 200 litres of cream has spilled on a highway in Tauranga courtesy of a Fonterra tanker.
The kilometre-long spillage covers the Takitimu roundabout on State Highway 29, and Barkes Corner straight through to Tauriko.
Police say the road between the Lakes roundabout and Cameron Rd will be blocked until further notice.
There will be speed restrictions in the left-hand lane between the Lakes roundabout and Tauriko for traffic heading from Tauranga to the Kaimais.
