Emergency services are responding to reports of a light plane crash in Taranaki on Tuesday morning.
A police spokesperson said they're responding to reports of a microlight plane crash in Stratford, which occurred at 11:45am.
The spokesperson said Flint Road is currently closed while emergency services respond.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson confirmed to Stuff they had a crew at the scene and were responding to a report of a light plane crash.
The site of the crash has not been confirmed.
Hato Hone St John said they were notified of an aviation incident in Stratford at 11:45am.
They responded with one ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and one manager to the scene.
"We were not required for transportation," they said in a statement.
