Young Thug is disappointing his Kiwi fans yet again after pulling out of music festival Auckland City Limits.

Festival organisers released a statement on Monday announcing the Atlanta rapper will "no longer be making the journey down under, due to being unable to secure an Australian visa".

The 'Pick up the Phone' hitmaker was unable to perform at Sydney City Limits due to his visa being denied. Since then, his New Zealand performances have been clouded in doubt.

"We have tried to get him to honour his commitment to play in New Zealand, but to no avail. Young Thug has made the decision not to come to New Zealand," organisers said this morning.

Local artists Scribe and P Money will step in in place of Young Thug.

It's not the first time the rapper has cancelled on his Kiwi fans - he failed to make his slot at St Jerome's Laneway Festival in 2017, again due to visa complications.

It's been an eventful week for Young Thug. He recently decided to change his name to SEX, which he announced in a series of tweets last week.
