Armed police have responded to a shooting on Gibbs Rd in south Auckland.
Early Thursday morning, one person was rushed to Middlemore Hospital with serious injuries after the incident in Manurewa, police confirmed.

It comes after two fatal incidents on Wednesday in the south Auckland suburbs of Otara and Manurewa which resulted in the arrests of two people.
