Chilling footage captured by a doorbell camera appears to show a woman being kidnapped in south Los Angeles.
The unidentified woman is heard screaming for help and a car heard speeding away.
Witness Denise Bingham told ABC 7 she was "really bothered" by what had happened.
"I'm all shook up [sic], I'm shaken up just talking about it," she said.
The footage was captured just after 11pm on Tuesday (local time).
One witness saw the victim's hair being pulled back as she was screaming, a statement from the LA Police Department said.
"Southwest area detectives are requesting the public's help in identifying and locating the victim of a possible kidnapping.
"Witnesses observed a possible four-door white Pruis with two occupants inside.
"A female black with dark braided hair was believed to be in the front passenger seat and the suspect in the driver's seat."
The police investigation is continuing.
