Sarah Stewart

Sarah is an Auckland reporter for Story. She comes from Campbell Live, where her standout moments included braving a shed full of 46,000 clucking caged chickens, being ranted at by people who'd had legal highs for breakfast, and duelling with medieval warriors in a Hamilton park. She was lured back to Auckland after 7 years working for BBC News in London. There, she indulged her obsession for exploring places off the beaten track. She counts Cuba, Syria, Burma, and Bosnia among her favourite countries and blogs at A wee girl named Tessa means posts aren't as frequent these days. Sarah feels privileged to be able to tell people's stories and welcomes ideas.
